“Animals make us more human – they awaken our emotions and open our hearts.” – TEMPLE GRANDIN
About Pet Health Center
Our mission is to provide exceptional, modern veterinary medicine and to develop long-lasting relationships with owners and their pets. We believe the best way to accomplish this is with a thorough approach to medical care and customer service. Since our patients can’t speak, a carefully performed physical exam is critical to good preventative, medical, and surgical care. Collaboration with owners is foundational to our approach which is why we discuss our physical exams as they are being done so you know what we are looking for and any abnormalities present. We apply this process to all aspects of our practice so owners have all the information, recommendations, and options to make the best healthcare choices for their pets. We take our fiduciary responsibility seriously because earning and maintaining your trust is critical to our business. We would love the opportunity to earn your trust!

Evelynn feels she was blessed and born with a passion for pets. She has always felt a special connection with them. She aspired to become a veterinarian, but life’s circumstances took her down a different path. That pathway, however, has consisted of over 25 years of experience in the animal healthcare field. She has been a volunteer dog walker, intake technician, adoption counselor, rescue worker, dog training assistant, gift/pet shop attendant & cashier, pet-sitter, receptionist, customer service representative, and vet technician. She has worked in most animal care environments including pet stores, shelters, private practices, partnerships, & corporate companies.
Evelynn was blessed to meet Dr. Brittany Kennedy at the beginning of her veterinarian doctor career in 2016. Dr. Kennedy joined as an associate doctor at the animal hospital where Evelynn had been working. There was an instant connection and they worked well together both on the clock & occasionally off the clock. Now working on Dr. Kennedy’s team since April 2021, it just feels that this is where Evelynn’s path was supposed to lead her. Both she & Dr. Kennedy share the same mission: to provide the best care & compassion to God’s people & pets. Evelynn is excited and thankful to have a beautiful hospital to put all of her skills & knowledge to good use.
Evelynn will treat your fur babies like her own, of which she has 2 senior canines, Angel & Roxy, and a fun furry feline, Kalea. She is an avid listener/supporter of Christian music and volunteers with JoyFM. She enjoys taking pictures and going to outdoor festivals & activities, especially at the St. Charles Riverfront, her favorite hangout place.
