About Pet Health Center
Our mission is to provide exceptional, modern veterinary medicine and to develop long-lasting relationships with owners and their pets. We believe the best way to accomplish this is with a thorough approach to medical care and customer service. Since our patients can’t speak, a carefully performed physical exam is critical to good preventative, medical, and surgical care. Collaboration with owners is foundational to our approach which is why we discuss our physical exams as they are being done so you know what we are looking for and any abnormalities present. We apply this process to all aspects of our practice so owners have all the information, recommendations, and options to make the best healthcare choices for their pets. We take our fiduciary responsibility seriously because earning and maintaining your trust is critical to our business. We would love the opportunity to earn your trust!

August joined Pet Health Center in July of 2020. Prior to Pet Health Center, she worked as an intensive care unit nurse at the University of Missouri Veterinary Hospital. She graduated in 2018 from Hickey College where she earned her Associate’s degree in Applied Animal Science. Her positive attitude and energetic personality makes clients and patients feel right at home. “I LOVE surgery, emergency medicine, and creating that bond with clients so that they feel comfortable with anything and everything that has to do with their pets.” Outside of work, August enjoys spending her free time at the gym, outdoors, and being with friends and family.
Having grown up on a rural farm it was a given Tiffany would work with animals. She started in the field at a mixed-species hospital in 1998 and never looked back. Over the years she has grown to love surgery and dentistry. “I always treat each pet as if it were my own that is here for a procedure/care.” When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family (they are avid sports fans).
Samantha earned her Associates in Applied Animal Science in 2015 from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. Since then, she has worked in large animal, general practice, and emergency medicine as an ICU technician. Her professional interests include client education, exotic animal care and dentistry. “ I want to earn your pets trust and spoil them with all the delicious treats.” Sam strives to become your dog’s new best friend at the clinic and has two dogs of her own (a chihuahua and a Yorkie mix). She also has two cats and some fish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outside, camping, and hiking.
Evelynn feels she was blessed and born with a passion for pets. She has always felt a special connection with them. She aspired to become a veterinarian, but life’s circumstances took her down a different path. That pathway, however, has consisted of over 25 years of experience in the animal healthcare field. She has been a volunteer dog walker, intake technician, adoption counselor, rescue worker, dog training assistant, gift/pet shop attendant & cashier, pet-sitter, receptionist, customer service representative, and vet technician. She has worked in most animal care environments including pet stores, shelters, private practices, partnerships, & corporate companies.
Evelynn was blessed to meet Dr. Brittany Kennedy at the beginning of her veterinarian doctor career in 2016. Dr. Kennedy joined as an associate doctor at the animal hospital where Evelynn had been working. There was an instant connection and they worked well together both on the clock & occasionally off the clock. Now working on Dr. Kennedy’s team since April 2021, it just feels that this is where Evelynn’s path was supposed to lead her. Both she & Dr. Kennedy share the same mission: to provide the best care & compassion to God’s people & pets. Evelynn is excited and thankful to have a beautiful hospital to put all of her skills & knowledge to good use.
Evelynn will treat your fur babies like her own, of which she has 2 senior canines, Angel & Roxy, and a fun furry feline, Kalea. She is an avid listener/supporter of Christian music and volunteers with JoyFM. She enjoys taking pictures and going to outdoor festivals & activities, especially at the St. Charles Riverfront, her favorite hangout place.
Maddy graduated from The Midwest Institute in 2019 with a degree in Applied Animal Science. She has worked for several general practice clinics in the area and met the Kennedys while doing relief work. She has finally found her home at PHC! Maddy’s favorite part about being a technician is all the cool experiences she has on a daily basis and being able to help animals have a voice. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her four dogs and keeping several different exotic species.
Angie joined Pet Health Center in June 2021. She has worked as a Vet Receptionist for two years. She loves helping people and for 25 years has worked as a Customer Service Representative in the physical therapy and chiropractic fields. Outside of work, she enjoys cuddling with her senior cat Freckle, spending time with family and friends, volunteers to share the Bible’s hope with her community, watching football with her husband, and watching educational shows to learn more about animals. Angie says she is grateful to have landed at Pet Health Center and will greet all the families with a smile and your pet with hugs.
